COVID-19 – Consequences of the pandemic and CAWꞌs response

We want to thank you sincerely for your continued loyalty and support in this uncertain and trying time for us all.
With the COVID-19 virus continuously and sometimes increasing speed still spreading, governments and enterprises world-wide have taken far-reaching measures and interventions in public life in order to protect and maintain both, public and employee health. It can be anticipated that this pandemic and protective measures imposed will have long-term impact to the global economy.
As a global operating enterprise, it is a matter of course for CAW to take responsibility during this time of crisis and to and contribute in minimizing the negative impact of the pandemic. The protection of our employees and their families, of our clients and business partners, of our manufacturing partners and suppliers is top priority for us!
We are consistently complying with the directives set out by the federal government, by the ministry of health as well as the recommendations of institutions and experts close to the federal government. These are in fact significant contact and travel restrictions which can be found here.
For that reason, our employees are working from home whenever possible; our offices are each manned by only one person. Necessary meetings take place via telephone or video conference, business trips are postponed until further notice or completely suspended for the time being.
As of today, we are happy to confirm that none of our employee has reported a confirmed case of COVID-19.
Despite these restrictions, we do everything we can to continue offering our customers and business partners a high level of service and consideration. As of today, the production of our system components continues unchanged, fortunately we are neither facing bottlenecks in the procurement of materials nor are we confronted with issues or other delays caused by this. We are aware, however, that this situation may rapidly change depending on the further development of the pandemic as well as depending on changes in the federal government's guidelines associated.
Even though we are, as a result of the measures described above, still unable to provide on-site support or only in exceptional instances, we are offering remote support via Skype, Microsoft Teams, WhatsApp and telephone. This applies to problems possibly occurring and their resolutions, but also for other meetings as well as for personnel training. You are welcome to make an appointment with your contact here at CAW.
