Collection, Processing and Use of Personal Data

The legal bases for the collection, storage and processing of personal data can be found in particular in the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG). Personal data is information which relates to an identified or identifiable natural person (Art. 4, Para. 1 of the GDPR). This includes, in particular, names, address details, telephone numbers or email addresses. But information about preferences, memberships or, for example, previously visited websites can also constitute personal data.

If you contact us (e.g. by email or using our contact form), the data you provide shall be stored for the purpose of processing your inquiry and possible follow-up questions. The legal basis for processing is the necessity to implement pre-contractual measures according to Art. 6, Para. 1 b) of the GDPR. We delete the data collected in this regard once storage is no longer necessary, or we restrict processing if legal retention requirements exist.

Your Rights

You have the following rights vis-à-vis us with regard to the personal data concerning you:
Right of access,
Right to collection or deletion,
Right to restriction of processing,
Right to object to processing,
Right to data portability.

You also have the right to lodge complaints regarding our processing of your personal data with a data protection supervisory authority.

Revocation of Consent and Objection to the Processing of Your Data

We would like to point out that you can revoke any consent you granted with respect to processing your data at any time. Your revocation does not have any influence on data processing which has already been carried out; it only has effect for the future.

Insofar as processing of your personal data is based on a balancing of interests under the terms of Art. 6, Para. 1 f) of the GDPR, you can object to such processing. A balancing of interests is particularly carried out if processing is not required to fulfill a contract with you. Please refer to this privacy policy for the legal bases of the respective processing procedures. If you exercise your right to object, we ask that you provide reasons for doing so. If your objection is justified, we shall examine the factual situation and shall either stop or adjust our data processing activities, or shall demonstrate to you our compelling and legitimate grounds, on the basis of which we may continue our processing activities.

Furthermore, you can object to the processing of your personal data for advertising and data analysis purposes at any time. You can inform us of your objection to advertising using the contact details provided above.

Transfer to Third Parties

We transfer your personal data to third parties, insofar as doing so is necessary to implement contracts. The legal basis for transfer is the necessity to fulfill a contract according to Art. 6, Para. 1 b) of the GDPR. Personal data is not transferred to third parties for marketing or advertising purposes without your express consent.

Integration of Google Maps

We have integrated maps provided by Google Maps on our website. The purpose of this is to make it easier for visitors to find our company headquarters in Wiesloch. The legal basis is Art. 6, Para. 1 f) of the GDPR.

When you visit our website, Google receives the information that you have accessed the corresponding sub-page of our website. Other data such as your IP address is also transferred to Google. This is done regardless of whether you are logged into a Google user account, or whether such a user account does not exist. If you are logged into Google, your data shall be assigned directly to your account. If you do not want this information to be assigned to your Google profile, you must log out before viewing our website. Google stores your data as usage profiles and uses it for the purposes of advertising, market research and/or displaying its website in a needs-based manner. Evaluation such as this takes place (even for users who are not logged in) particularly to provide needs-based advertising and to inform other social network users of your activities on our website. Google reCAPTCHA

We also use the reCAPTCHA tool provided by Google Inc. on our website. reCAPTCHA checks whether data is input on our website by a human or by an automated program (bot). To this end, reCAPTCHA analyzes your behavior as a website visitor using a variety of features. This analysis starts as soon as you visit the website. reCAPTCHA evaluates various types of information (e.g. IP address, length of time the visitor has spent on the website, or the mouse evaluations made by the user) for analysis purposes. The data collected during the analysis is forwarded to Google. The reCAPTCHA analyses run completely in the background. You are not informed that the analysis is taking place. We use reCAPTCHA to protect ourselves from misuse by automated programs. Data processing is carried out based on Art. 6, Para. 1 f) of the GDPR.

You can find further information about Google reCAPTCHA here: https://www.google.com/recaptcha/intro/v3beta.html.

Google Web Fonts

We use Google Web Fonts on our website to display font types in a standardized manner. The required web fonts are loaded by your browser when you access the website server, in order to display the texts and font types correctly. During this process, your browser establishes a connection to Google’s servers, whereby Google is made aware that our website is being visited by a terminal device with your IP address. The use of Google Web Fonts and the data processing associated with this is used in our interest in displaying our website appropriately. The legal basis is Art. 6, Para. 1 f) of the GDPR.

If your browser does not support the displaying of web fonts, a standard font is used instead.

You can find further information about Google Web Fonts at https://fonts.google.com/ and in Google’s privacy policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de.
