Chemical and process engineering industry: Reliable process heat, efficiency, availability, plant safety and emission control
Technology for reactors, distillation, drying and safe media handling
The chemical and process engineering industry places extremely high demands on heat supply, controllability, availability and safety. Reactors, distillation and rectification columns, mixers, evaporators and evaporator systems, spray and contact dryers, heat treatment systems, storage tanks and conveyor lines require extremely stable load control in addition to precisely defined temperature levels. At the same time, media must be strictly separated, emissions controlled and plants operated safely. Most processes are continuous, and efficiency and availability are key economic factors.
CAW designs and supplies integrated process heating solutions that are engineered for technical clarity and industrial robustness. Process heating systems with thermal oil heaters enable highly precise temperature control for reaction and heating processes. Additional heat exchangers can be used to provide secondary media such as steam, warm and hot water or hot gases. Shell and tube heat exchangers are particularly important here, as they safely separate media while transferring high heat outputs. The design is based on defined temperature windows, pressure levels, contamination tendencies and material requirements.
CAW designs TNV/TAR systems for thermal exhaust air purification for exhaust air streams containing VOCs, solvents or odorous substances. The focus here is on defined dwell times, stable and complete combustion, and strict compliance with specified limit values. Waste heat is recovered via economisers, heat recovery systems or downstream heating surfaces and integrated into existing energy concepts. Electric heaters supplement processes where emission-free heat or even greater control accuracy is required.
- Thermal oil systems for chemical and process engineering process lines
- Shell and tube heat exchanger for safe media separation
- TRO/TAR systems for VOC degradation and stable emission values
- Economisers and waste heat recovery systems for increased efficiency
- Engineering, safety concepts, installation support, commissioning, remote and on-site services, operator training and spare parts stocking
CAW develops proven complete solutions that combine process reliability and energy efficiency. The aim is always to create systems that run stably over the long term, can be regulated across a wide range of loads and temperatures, and at the same time minimise operating costs.
