Classen Apparatebau Wiesloch GmbH (CAW)

Norbert Classen (formerly Chairman of the Executive Board of Bertrams-KONUS), Claus Albrecht (formerly an authorized signatory of Bertrams-KONUS) and Hans-Raymund Roos (formerly Commercial Managing Director of Bertrams-KONUS) founded the new company Classen Apparatebau Wiesloch GmbH on July 1st, 1998, to resume direct worldwide sales of the popular and well-proven WIESLOCH-products.

Ever since its founding, CAW has been an owner-managed and completely independent company.

1993

IRSM

At the same location, IRSM now manufactures thermal oil heaters and related plant components, initially for KONUS-Kessel and their successor, the Bertrams-KONUS, and later also for other outfits.

1989

Kraftanlagen Heidelberg (KAH)

Apparatebau Wiesloch’s manufacturing facilities remain in operation under new ownership and continue to produce heaters and equipment components for KONUS-Kessel among others, and various other companies in the heating technology sector.

1967

Apparatebau Wiesloch

Until the early 1990s, the name was synonymous with a world-leading manufacturer of high-temperature process heating systems.
