Electronics industry: Precise process heat and clean energy for continuous production and highly efficient plants
Reproducible heat and temperature stability, plant safety and strict emission control for sensitive processes
In the electronics industry, production environments are compact, manufacturing processes are highly complex, temperature windows are extremely narrow, and process conditions are characterised by precision and purity. Cleaning, drying, curing, laminating, coating and the associated thermal treatment of exhaust air and exhaust gas streams require widely adjustable systems for heat generation and distribution. At the same time, extremely high requirements apply to cleanliness, plant availability and strictly controlled emissions. Production downtimes are economically fatal, so the integration of heating technology and exhaust air purification must be planned carefully.
CAW supplies process heating systems that are designed for maximum availability, precise controllability, stable process temperatures and robust, industrial construction. Thermal oil systems are particularly suitable for applications that require a consistent heat supply and narrow temperature distribution. In addition to conventional fossil fuel-fired KONTAKTOMAT® thermal oil heaters in combination with secondary circuit systems for heat and temperature control, electric heaters are a sensible option when emission-free heat is required, when no fuel infrastructure is available or when electricity from renewable sources is to be used. Direct electric heat generation allows load changes to be finely mapped and systems to be designed compactly.
CAW offers TNV/TAR systems for thermal exhaust air purification for exhaust air streams from cleaning, degreasing, coating and painting processes that are contaminated with solvents, alcohols and hydrocarbons. The design focuses on defined dwell times and oxidation conditions, stable combustion and reliable compliance with current and expected future emission limits. In addition, tailor-made system components for heat recovery, such as economisers and shell-and-tube heat exchangers, enable the efficient use of valuable waste heat, for example for preheating process air or media circuits.
- Thermal oil systems for precise temperature control with high control quality
- Electric heaters for emission-free heat and compact integration
- TRO systems for VOC and solvent degradation with heat recovery
- Heat exchanger solutions for thermal separation and increased efficiency
- Engineering and secure integration into existing production environments
CAW always designs systems so that safety concepts, media routing, temperature stability and maintenance accessibility fit together in a complete package. The result is a robust heating and exhaust air solution that ensures process quality and significantly reduces energy consumption.
