Paint and coatings industry: Process heat and efficient exhaust air purification using TNV/TAR systems for solvent and VOC emissions
Technology for phosphating, drying, reactors, mixing processes and safe exhaust air purification
The paint and coatings industry has demanding heat and exhaust air requirements. Numerous manufacturing and processing operations still use organic solvents, generate exhaust air containing VOCs and, at the same time, require controlled drying and defined reactions. Temperature fluctuations affect viscosity, mixing quality, reaction kinetics and drying results. At the same time, in addition to ongoing efforts to achieve greater efficiency, emission reduction and safety are key factors for approval and operation.
CAW supplies process heating solutions based on thermal oil systems, thermal oil heaters and heat exchanger systems. Thermal oil enables uniform heat transfer, precise controllability and a stable supply to multiple consumers. For secondary media, shell and tube heat exchangers provide steam, warm and hot water or hot gases from thermal oil. Economisers and waste heat recovery systems increase overall efficiency by using exhaust gas heat for preheating.
TNV/TAR systems are a key focus in this industry. They reliably oxidise VOCs and solvents and guarantee defined emission values. CAW designs combustion chambers and residence times in such a way that even fluctuating exhaust air volumes and loads can be reliably controlled. Heat recovery allows the thermal energy of the exhaust air to be fed back into processes, for example to preheat the combustion air or to feed it into a heat transfer circuit.
- TRO/TAR systems for the oxidation of VOCs and odorous substances and reliable emission control
- Thermal oil systems for heating pickling, passivation and phosphating baths, continuous dryers, reactors, mixers and other temperature control tasks
- Heat exchanger for safe media separation and efficient energy distribution
- Economisers and waste heat recovery systems for heat recovery
- Engineering, integration into existing plants and commissioning
CAW develops and supplies the integrated technical solution comprising heat supply and exhaust air treatment. The aim is to ensure stable and safe operation at all times, as well as a reliable basis for approval, accompanied by a noticeable reduction in primary energy consumption.
