At CAW, we are specialists in the wide-ranging field of industrial high-temperature process heat supply and industrial combustion technology. Beyond the scope of classic thermal oil applications, we offer solutions for:
Thermal oil evaporator
For applications requiring thermal oil in the vapour phase, we build electrically heated evaporators as well as flash evaporators.
Steam generation
Complete steam generator systems indirectly heated with thermal oil, including feed water degassing, softening and preheating.
Warm and hot water production
Salt melting
For maximum temperatures far beyond the applicability of thermal oils, we offer heating systems that use molten salts as heat transfer media – these are eutectic binary or ternary mixtures of KNO₃, NaNO₂ and NaNO₃.
Hot air and hot gas generation
For processes in which hot air (without combustion exhaust gases) or hot gases are used directly from combustion, we supply both thermal oil gas and gas-gas heat exchangers. We also build customised combustion chambers and hot gas mixing chambers specifically for these applications.
Heat recovery / waste heat systems
To this end, we not only use our KONTATOMAT® thermal oil heaters, but also build combustion air and process gas preheaters, warm and hot water economisers, and other downstream heating surfaces.
