Electronics industry: Precise process heat and clean energy for continuous production and highly efficient facilities
Reproducible heat and temperature stability, system reliability, and strict emissions control for sensitive processes
In the electronics industry, production environments are compact, manufacturing processes are highly complex, temperature windows are extremely narrow, and process conditions are characterized by both precision and purity. Cleaning, drying, curing, laminating, coating, and the associated thermal treatment of exhaust air and exhaust gas streams require highly adjustable systems for heat generation and distribution. At the same time, there are extremely high standards for cleanliness, equipment availability, and strictly controlled emissions. Production downtime is economically disastrous; the integration of heating technology and exhaust purification must be carefully planned.
CAW supplies process heating systems designed for maximum availability / uptime, precise control, stable process temperatures, and a robust industrial design. Thermal oil systems are particularly well-suited for applications that require a uniform heat supply and precise temperature distribution. In addition to conventional fossil fuel-fired KONTAKTOMAT® thermal oil heaters combined with secondary circuit systems for heat and temperature control, electric heaters are a practical option when emission-free heat is required, when no fuel infrastructure is available, or when electricity from renewable sources is to be used. Direct electric heat generation allows for precise response to load changes and enables the construction of compact systems.
For exhaust air streams from cleaning, degreasing, coating, and painting processes – which are contaminated with solvents, alcohols, and hydrocarbons – CAW offers thermal oxidizer / incinerator systems for thermal exhaust air treatment. The design focuses on defined residence times and oxidation conditions, stable combustion, and reliable compliance with current and future emission limits. In addition, custom-designed system components, such as economizers and shell-and-tube heat exchangers, enable the efficient utilization of valuable waste heat, for example to preheat process air or media circuits.
- Thermal oil systems for precise temperature control with high control accuracy
- Electric heaters for emission-free heat and compact integration
- Thermal oxidizer / incinerator systems for VOC and solvent abatement with heat recovery
- Heat exchanger solutions for thermal separation and increased efficiency
- Engineering and safe integration into existing production environments
CAW generally designs systems so that safety concepts, media routing, temperature stability, and maintenance accessibility are integrated into a comprehensive package. The result is a robust heating and exhaust air solution that ensures process quality and significantly reduces energy consumption.
