In mechanical engineering and the metalworking industry, thermal processes form a key part of the value chain: heat is required for furnaces, mixers/reactors, preheating sections, drying, coating, temperature control, heating rollers and forming machines, as well as for cleaning and treatment processes. For plant designs with a constant level of waste heat, an ORC system can generate additional electrical energy.
