The demand for heat in textile manufacturing and textile cleaning is both essential and high. In addition to constant temperature profiles, an extremely stable heat supply is crucial for product quality: stretching frames, dryers, dyeing and coating processes, as well as ironing systems, require consistent temperature control. Load fluctuations and varying material throughputs must be accommodated without compromising quality. In addition, exhaust air flows are generated which, depending on the process, may contain organic components such as knitting oils, water vapour, odours and also solids in the form of textile fibres.
CAW develops and supplies process heating solutions designed for precise control and high availability. Thermal oil systems reliably supply dryers and heating zones with stable temperatures via heat exchangers. Thermal oil is particularly suitable when multiple consumers need to be supplied centrally and high flow and process temperatures are required without steam pressure. Electric heaters complement applications where emission-free heat or flexible electrical power is required.
CAW designs TRO/TAR systems for the thermal treatment of exhaust air from coating and cleaning processes. These systems reliably break down VOCs and other odorous substances. Heat from exhaust air or flue gas streams can be recovered via economisers and shell-and-tube heat exchangers to preheat process air, water or thermal oil. This reduces operating costs and stabilises the energy supply.
CAW supplies state-of-the-art heating systems that maintain process stability and, consequently, consistent product quality, whilst also making efficient use of both primary energy and waste heat streams. The aim is to provide a highly flexible heat supply that operates reliably and enhances production reliability.
